Rosenborg BK and FK Haugesund have reached an agreement on a transfer of Juska Savolainen.
NEW CLUB: Juska Savolainen will be playing in the FK Haugesund shirt next year.

Rosenborg have Friday afternoon agreed with Haugesund about a transfer for Juska Savolainen. The Fin has signed a two-year contract with newly promoted Tippeliga club. Sports director Erik Hoftun says that this was an expected tranfer.
- It has becomed more and more clear that a club transfer was the solution for Savolainen. It has not gone as expected for him in Rosenborg and he har also been on loan to Tampere, says Hoftun to RBK.no.
Savolainen spent the spring season in Finland before he returned to Rosenborg in August. Then the player and the club agree that he would stay in Rosenborg out the season, before they evaluated the situation again.
- He has not gotten as much playing time as he wanted. This is the best solution for both Rosenborg and Savolainen, says Hoftun, who does not want to say something about the transfer fee.
- We have agreed with Haugesund to not comment on it, he says.
Savolainen was one of the first players Hoftun brought to the club after he became sports director at Rosenborg. The Fin impressed during training camp in Gran Canaria and signed not long after a three-year contract with Rosenborg.
- It did not go as we hoped, but I want to thank Juska for the time in Rosenborg and I wish him luck in his future, says Hoftun.
The move means that Savolainen will be reunited with an old buddy from Rosenborg. This summer John Pelu was sold to Haugesund, after having been on loan at the club in spring season.
