Three points against Molde

Magne Hoseth sent Molde ahead, but RBK turned the score with goals of Strand, Dorsin and Iversen.

ANOTHER STRAND GOAL: Rosenborg veteran equalized in the first half.

Molde was first to find the net in the Tippeliga game at Lerkendal. 11 minutes into the game Molde's midfielder Magne Hoseth was played trough on the left side and sent the ball between Daniel Örlund and the nearest post.

But Rosenborg came back immediately as Henriksen found veteran Roar Strand at the edge of the penalty area, and the 40-year old midfielder made a power shot in the left corner. 1-1 the score 15 into the game.

Rosenborg had the most ball possession after the equalizer and completed the turnaround 32 minutes into the first half. Morten Moldskred made a great low cross, and Mikael Dorsin got first to the ball and scored from six meters.

The pressure on Molde continued throughout the first half, but Rosenborg didn't find the way to goal and 2-1 was the score at half time.

Steffen Iversen has made it a tradition to score against the rivals from Molde, and this game was no exception. Trond Olsen had just entered the pitch and made a precise low cross in the 62nd minute. Steffen Iversen made a run to the back post and slid the ball into the net!

Rosenborg kept putting Molde under servere pressure and both Markus Henriksen and Anthony Annan came to good opportunities. Trond Olsen was also positive with both good crosses and power shots.

After 78 minutes, it was too much for Molde's captain Daniel Berg Hestad. He kicked Anthony Annan and referee Svein Oddvar Moen showed no mercy as he sent the veteran of the pitch with a red card. Molde never managed to threaten RBKs lead and deservingly won 3-1.

NB! The Lerkendal crowd voted 19 year old defender Simen Søraunet Wangberg as RBK's best player.
