Stadsgaard to Malaga

Central defender Kris Stadsgaard has signed with Spanish side Malaga.

SPAIN NEXT: Kris Stadsgaard next league will be Primera Division.

Kris Stadsgaard has completed his move to the Primera Division club Malaga.

- I have always dreamed of playing in La Liga, so this is very exciting, says Kris Stadsgaard to RBK.no.

- Kris had a little more than one and a half year left of his contract and we got an offer that we are satisfied with. Kris also wanted to go to Malaga, so it was right of us to let him go. We wish him the best of luck continuing his career in Spain, says sport director Erik Hoftun.

He has focus on the signals the move gives to other players.

- This shows that there is a possibility to take the step up to the big leagues if one joins Rosenborg, says Hoftun.

Stadsgaard will be ready for play against Real Zaragoza at 11 September.
