Cars and lorries
Lerkendal Stadium is about 3 km south of the centre of Trondheim on the main E6 highway. If you are driving from Oslo follow the signs to the city centre when you leave the motorway then turn right into Nardoveien at the traffic lights before you pass under a railway bridge. The stadium is on Klæbuveien. Car parking near the stadium is difficult on matchdays.
City buses
Most of the buses from the city centre take you close to Lerkendal Stadium. Click here for more information - rutekart
The ’Fotballbussen’ has a non-stop service to Lerkendal on matchdays from two shopping centres: City Syd and Rema 1000 Stavset.
4 bus departures from City Syd:
70, 55, 40 and 25 minutes before the kick off. The trip takes 10-15 min.
2 bus departures from Rema, Stavset:
70 and 40 minutes before kick off. The trip takes 10-15 min.
- Free car park.
- Return from Strindveien (outside Addidas stand) after the match.
- Tickets: NOK 20 (return fare) adults/NOK 10 for children and OAPs.
Airport bus service
This runs between Trondheim Airport and Lerkendal Stadium which is the terminus.
The airport bus (Flybuss) stops at all central hotels in the city centre (about 30 minutes from the airport) Departures from the airport/Lerdendal are every 15 minutes on weekdays. The trip to Lerkendal Stadium takes 55 minutes and the fare is NOK 80. Use a credit card or have some Norwegian currency (cash machine at the airport).
Airport taxi service
The regular taxis are just outside the exit at Trondheim Airport.
Pre-booked taxis are cheaper (but this is a shared service) and the taxi stand is 100 m to the left of the exit from Trondheim Airport. One taxi company has number +47 93 00 73 73 from outside Norway, or 07373 in Norway. The other service has +47 73 92 49 15 from outside Norway, and 08000 in Norway.
Train
There is a train service from Oslo to Trondheim. You can take this train from Oslo International Airport (Gardermoen). Trondheim Airport also has a train service to the city centre and connection to Lerkendal Stadium.
