Rosenborg Ballklub is Norway's leading football club. Through its many years of participation in the Champions League, the club has gained immense international recognition.  The SalMar Academy will as of 2018 have a new organization and will further develop players to make the step up to the A squad. There will be approximately 40-42 players divided into two teams; RBK2 and G16. Rosenborg works closely with Strinda Videregående Skole, combining education and training during the school year.

We are currently searching for key resources for the development of the SalMar Academy:

Assistant Coach RBK2 - Main Coach G16 - Assistant CoachG16 - Physiotherapist - Equipment Manager – Head of Analysis

Assistant Coach RBK2 (50% / 100%)

As the Assistant Coach, you will be part of a close collaboration with the Head Coach of RBK2. 
Responsibilities for Assistant Coach RBK2:

     • Co-responsible for preparing training programs for the whole season 
     • Assist the Main Coach RBK2 in training and match supervision

You should have coaching experience from a top football academy or senior tier (2nd level or higher), with experience from playing 4-3-3. You must have a UEFA A license and pedagogical understanding. 

If you have competence and experience with analysis and technological tools, the appointment can be combined with the analysis function in a full time position.

Main Coach G16

Responsibilities for Main Coach G16: 
     • Develop and be responsible for training arrangements for the entire season 
     • Develop the understanding and attitude necessary to become a first RBK team player 
     • Match supervision National League G16 / NMG16 / Tournaments 
     • Tailor-make training programs

You should have coaching experience from a top football academy, preferably from an international top club environment, drilled in playing 4-3-3. You must have a UEFA A license and pedagogical understanding.

Assistant Coach G16 (50% / 100%)

As Assistant Coach, you will enter into a close collaboration with the Main Coach G16. 
Responsibilities for Assistant Coach: 
     • Co-responsible for preparing training programs for the whole season 
     • Assist the Main Coach G16 in training and match supervision

You should have coaching experience from a top football academy or senior tier (3.div. or higher), drilled in playing 4-3-3. You should at least have a UEFA B-licence and pedagogical understanding.

If you have competence and experience with analysis and technological tools, the appointment can be combined with the analysis function in a full time position.

Academy Physiotherapist

The Academy`s physiotherapist will work closely with the coaching staff and all the players in the Academy as well as the club`s medical staff

Areas of responsibility:

·     Prepare and be responsible for preventive training and recovery programs

·     Be present at training session / matches, monitor players in the gym

·     Follow the progress of players recovering from injury

You must have a bachelor`s-/master`s degree in physiotherapy. It would be advantageous with experience from manual therapy or having worked with top-level athletes.

Academy`s Head of Analysis

It is the wish of the academy to integrate analysis into the daily work with player- and team development.

Areas of responsibility for the Head of Analysis:  
• Analysis of the Academy's home games and selected training sessions 
• Tailor-make development programs by using analysis and process tools 
• Supply the coaches of RBK2 and G16 with analyses 
It would be beneficial if you have experience from analysis and process tools and if you can refer to methodical and structured workflow. Excellent writing ability is a prerequisite. You must have a UEFA A license and a background from the world of sports.

Academy Equipment Administrator

The academy`s «kit man» is an extremely important service function for the coaches and players. The Equipment Administrator is central in building logistic routines and keeping track of all equipment 
Areas of responsibility for the Equipment Administrator: 
     • Responsible for the washing of kits for training sessions and matches 
     • Facilitator of all equipment and all matches 
     • Stock taking, procurement

As the Equipment Administrator you must be systematic, be quick to obtain an overview and have an excellent service attitude and collaborative skills. It is an advantageous with prior knowledge from the "changing room" and the requirements necessary to be a top athlete
